Your privacy at Ssente

1. What we collect

From the waitlist and contact forms: your name and email, and, if you choose to share them, your phone number, city, area, company and answers about how you'd use Ssente. We also record basic technical details: when you signed up, device type, language and the page or link that brought you here.

2. How we use it

To manage the waitlist, send your invite and launch news (if you opted in), reply to your messages, and decide which cities and features to launch first.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, and spam checks use Google reCAPTCHA. Both handle data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We only share data with authorities where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Until Ssente has launched in your area and you've received your invite, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

5. Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or stop launch emails at any time. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

1. About this site

Ssente has not launched yet. This website previews features we're building. Screens, merchant names, prices and offers shown are examples only and may change.

2. The waitlist

Joining is free. A place on the list doesn't guarantee access, a launch date or any specific feature. Invites go out in stages, city by city.

3. Not a financial service (yet)

Nothing on this site is an offer of payments, credit, savings or any other financial service. When the Ssente app launches, separate app terms will apply.

4. Your information

Please give accurate details when you sign up or contact us. Our privacy notice explains how we handle them.

5. Fair use

Don't send spam or false information, or try to disrupt the site or its forms.

6. Our brand

The Ssente name, logo and site design belong to Ssente. Please don't reuse them without permission.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms, and the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
